I call it “Rita’s Blend” because she’s the friend that gave me the recipe. She's an Italian and a wonderful cook. (She had a catering business years ago.)
I use it on chicken, pork, beef, potatoes and pasta. It’s wonderful on everything I’ve tried it with so far.
It makes a good bit so save a large shaker type container to store it in.
¼ oz. Thyme
1 oz. Dry Basil
¼ oz. Dry Parsley
1 oz. Dry Rosemary
1 oz. Granulated Garlic
½ oz. Dry Oregano
¼ oz. Red Pepper
¼ oz. Kosher Salt
2 oz. Coarse Black Pepper
Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Store in airtight container.
Mix with olive oil to use for Bruschetta.
