OK, the week off was pretty cool, but apparently the food world did not shut down while I was away. Tons of food news coming up -- and I'll whisk it out as soon as I get it sifted (sorry for the kitchen humor.)
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/3 cup molasses
pinch of salt and pepper
1 tablespoon crushed garlic
a heavy pinch of dried basil
Mix all ingredients in a bowl, along with the chicken, of course, and let marinate for 30 minutes. Place chicken in an even layer in a baking dish and bake at 375 for 25 minutes.
Tapioca is from the root of the cassava plant.
