Coming to Your Table

Forget turning a young man's fancy to love -- spring is for cookbooks, and some fine ones are out there this season.

For Wednesday's food section of The Star, we talked to Southern chef, teacher and author Virginia Willis about her book due out next month, "Bon Appetit, y'all." Wonderful stories, practical recipes with elegance and panache... and a deviled egg recipe that calls for whipped butter in the filling.

Pat Kettles gets us Uncorked with wines that pair with grilled cheese (see the posting on here for other recipes) and Prudence Hilburn lends her Gourmet Touch to cakes that uses ingredients at home in most pantries.

There are the restaurant inspections, tips for healthy eating and more than a dozen recipes coming Wednesday to Your Table.
