And to balance all the 'health' posts.....

Those of you heading to Sin City this year -- or with a computer handy -- can tap into a mix of literature and, gulp, cheesecake.

Billed as the country's first bookstore/cheesecake joint that delivers nationwide, Cheesecake and Crime opened its doors in Las Vegas this year and serves cheesecake and suspense novels.

The store is the brainchild of Lendall and Pam Mains. She loves murder mysteries. He's an architect who loves to bake and put himself through college by selling cheesecakes

The store has a variety of flavors and sizes -- the cakes, not the books. For drop-in customers, there is cheesecake by the slice and cheesecake clues (square sections equal to about 1/2 a slice.)

Flavors on hand vary, but typically are Plain, Cookies n' cream, Nutella, strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, cherry, lemon, chocolate and German chocolate. Sizes: a 6-inch (feeds 6-10), an 8-inch (feeds 10-14), a 10-inch (feeds 12-18), or a 12-inch.

The store's Web site is a little cantankerous, so be patient in trying to scan the galleries or ordering information.
