Wine Pudding Cake

This cake is so habit forming. One piece is not enough. All my co-workers, past and present, have enjoyed this tasty treat. It's also easy to make and always turns out great. (Even the one time I forgot an ingredient.)

Enjoy with a cup of coffee...... what a way to start the day!

WINE PUDDING CAKE

1 box Butter Pecan cake mix
1 3 oz. box Vanilla pudding mix
3/4 cup water
1/4 cup white wine
3/4 oil
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tsp. Cinnamon
4 eggs (large)

1/2 cup chopped pecans (Don't put this in the cake batter)

Grease and lightly flour a Bundt cake pan. Sprinkle in the pecans. Mix all ingredients. Bake for 1 hour at 350.
Leave the cake in the pan while you make the glaze.

GLAZE

1 stick of butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 tsp. water
1/4 cup white wine

Bring to a boil, spoon or pour around the outer edge of cake only. Let it sit for about 15 minutes then turn onto cake plate.
